Have you ever felt the incessant need to create?  The immediate desire to draw caricatures of strangers in the park? The gnawing itch to take up knitting for the sole purpose of finding a creative release?

We did, but knitting wasn’t our answer.  We were living in a world where we were completely wrapped up in work and the monotony of the day-to-day, forgetting what it was like to create just for the sake of it.

We realized that creation was necessary to our sanity.  So we decided to take our sanity into our own hands.  We created Blommit.com.

Blommit is a cultural entertainment experiment guided by seven people who each respond to a weekly topic in any way they choose.  Responses can manifest themselves via any medium, be it story, song, quilt, poem, video, drawing, etc.  For real, anything goes.  But if you really think about it, in the end the form is nearly irrelevant.  The beauty of Blommit comes not from the diversity of media, rather it comes from the diversity of thinking and perspectives.  Blommit is culture, prepared fresh daily.
